Aluminium Chair EA 108 by Charles and Ray Eames is a conference chair with generous proportions and a medium-height backrest. Aluminium armrests are paired with a swivel four-star base for easy changes of position at the table.
The seat and backrest are formed by a resilient cover stretched between two aluminium side members, adapting to the sitter’s body. Distinctive horizontal ribbing emphasises the clean structural lines. Comfort is achieved without bulky separate cushions.
The die-cast aluminium frame and base are available in polished, chrome-plated or powder-coated finishes. Fabric and leather covers can be coordinated with meeting rooms, offices and home workspaces. Glides can be selected for carpet or hard floors.
