Eames Fiberglass Side Chair DSL by Charles and Ray Eames pairs an organically shaped shell with the aluminium La Fonda base. The 1950 design celebrates fibreglass with visible fibres that give every chair its own character.

The dyed-through, glass-fibre reinforced polyester has a subtly irregular surface and pleasant tactile qualities. Small variations in the fibre pattern, colour and pigmentation are natural characteristics of the material. Its one-piece shell forms a continuous seat and backrest.

The die-cast aluminium base comes in a polished finish or with white or basic dark powder coating. Seven original shell colours suit both dining and work interiors. An optional Hopsak upholstered seat cushion adds comfort, while a choice of glides accommodates different floor types.
