The HAL Soft Wood by Vitra is an upholstered chair designed by Jasper Morrison as a softer and more comfortable interpretation of the distinctive shell of the HAL family. The rounded upholstery gives the chair a more pleasant, relaxed look, while the wooden base enhances its warm and inviting character.

The seat consists of a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide shell filled with recyclable V-Foam polyurethane foam. The fabric cover can be replaced through Vitra’s service department if necessary and is available in a range of fabrics, including the Laser RE version made from recycled material. The four-legged wooden base is available in natural or dark oak.

Thanks to its combination of comfort, clean lines, and the natural look of wood, HAL Soft Wood has a versatile appeal and fits easily into dining areas, workspaces, and other interiors where comfort is important without unnecessary visual ostentation.
