designed by Verner Panton

The Heart Cone Chair by Vitra captivates with its striking silhouette resembling a heart, which gave it its name. In this design from the late 1950s, Verner Panton combined a geometric foundation with soft curves to create a distinctive, sculptural piece. The wide-open upper section flows seamlessly into the tapering body, giving the chair an unmistakable look.

The glass-fiber-reinforced plastic shell is complemented by polyurethane foam padding and a removable seat cushion. The comfortable upholstery is balanced by a subtle stainless steel cross-base, which highlights the shape of the seat and backrest. The Heart Cone Chair serves as a striking feature in the living room as well as distinctive seating in reception areas and common spaces.
