Designed by Hans Coray for the 1939 Swiss National Exhibition, the Landi Chair retains its light and contemporary appearance. Its all-aluminium construction combines a three-dimensionally shaped seat shell with a separate base and low armrests.
The pressed aluminium shell has 91 punched holes that reduce weight, contribute to its flexibility and give the chair its distinctive look. Two bent U-shaped profiles joined by welded cross braces form the supporting frame, legs and armrests. The matt anodised finish is weather-resistant, making the chair suitable for unrestricted outdoor use.
Up to six Landi Chairs can be stacked, and their light construction makes them easy to move between indoor spaces, terraces and gardens. The legs are fitted with light grey TPE glides. Stacking may leave signs of wear on the anodised surface.
