Vitra’s Panton Cubes are a playful modular system designed in 1974 by Danish designer Verner Panton. His distinctive approach to color, geometric shapes, and experimentation with space is reflected here in original three-dimensional objects that blend design with creativity. The simple cubic modules can be used to create stylized animal figures as well as your own abstract compositions.

Individual square frames are assembled into cubes, connected using linking clips, and complemented with colored or chrome-plated panels. All parts are made of recycled ABS plastic. The current reissue, developed by Vitra in collaboration with Verner Panton Design AG, offers building sets featuring four animal motifs—a duck, a flamingo, a giraffe, and a cat. Each set contains the components needed to assemble the corresponding figure, while also allowing users to experiment with their own shapes.

Panton Cubes are a striking decorative element that brings color, creativity, and the distinctive style of one of the 20th century’s most influential designers to any interior. They are not toys, but rather design objects intended for decorative use.
