designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, 2008
Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Softshell Chair with a five-star base brings soft, rounded contours to the workplace. Its height-adjustable swivel base with castors supports individual seating adjustment and easy movement at the desk.
Flexible vertical ribs concealed in the backrest adapt to the sitter’s movements and provide support during longer periods of sitting. The seat, backrest and integrated armrests form a continuous upholstered shape on a fibreglass-reinforced polyamide shell. Soft seat and backrest padding is made of recyclable polyurethane V-Foam.
Fabric and leather covers make it possible to coordinate the chair with offices, studios and home workspaces. The aluminium base comes in powder-coated basic dark or with a polished finish. Choose castors for carpet or hard floors.
