The chairs you used to sit on as a child in the school canteen, but much more comfortable, were designed by Tereza Froňková and studio Olgoj Chorchoj in collaboration with David Karásek for the legendary Eska restaurant in Prague's industrial district of Karlín.

They are directly inspired by the school chairs of primary schools in socialist Czechoslovakia.

The ergonomics are slightly modified and take pride in the new quality of ordinary things.

The stainless steel version is also suitable for outdoor use.
