Lufthansa InTouch

Reconstruction of the interior rest area for Lufthansa InTouch call centre employees.

The main goal was to create an informal space with a different atmosphere than the usual office environment. A place  where employees will feel comfortable and pleasant. Therefore, emphasis was placed on sufficient lighting, maintaining contact with the surroundings and the use of greenery. 

The third floor, with the working title of jungle, is decorated in browns and greens, evoking a sense of calm and connection with nature. The fourth floor, named Heaven, is dominated by a dark blue ceiling with light blue slats and houses the company's reception area.

The same principles are used on both floors: all horizontal surfaces are made of natural materials, the floor is made of marmoleum, the tables and chair seats are made of oak veneer, the bench seating is made of leather. The vertical elements are made up of slim and tall pieces that work with a smaller scale to contrast with the large open spaces around. Suspended ceiling elements add dynamism to the space while separating the technical elements of the building from the relaxation zones.

The variability created in this way offers a variety of places to spend a working break, whether it is a quick lunch or an informal meeting with colleagues.
