Summer Shakespeare Festival is the oldest and largest open-air theatre show in Europe focused on the performance of William Shakespeare's works;
The festival was initiated by President Václav Havel. He opened Prague Castle to artists in the early 1990s to attract the public to the Castle. The first Shakespearean performance was held here in 1990 and since 1998 the festival has been held regularly.
The spectators who attend the plays experience not only an amazing cultural experience, but also immense comfort on high quality metal chairs, of which our company has supplied the organisers with 600 pieces and which have been in use for 8 years.
